Explorations

For the logo, we explored a range of fonts and visual elements that aligned with the brand’s calm, inclusive ethos—drawing inspiration from the word Kuti, meaning hut. The final identity strikes a balance between minimalism and warmth, echoing the idea of a modern-day retreat in the heart of the city.

Typography

A soft, rounded, and approachable typeface complements The Kuti Project’s warm, inclusive, and calming atmosphere. The typography should feel easy, modern, and friendly, reflecting the cafe’s role as a peaceful, welcoming retreat within the city. Its gentle curves and balanced form subtly echo the comfort and simplicity of a hut, tying back to the brand’s core inspiration.

Sleeve Design

for bagasse box

This design captures the essence of The Kuti Project as a peaceful hideaway tucked within the city’s hustle. Inspired by the buildings of Balewadi High Street, it brings the vibe of a calm, welcoming space that lets you pause and breathe, even on your busiest days. The playful details and familiar street elements make the box feel like a little piece of the neighbourhood you can carry with you.

Social Media

Strategy

The social media strategy for The Kuti Project centers on building an aspirational and community-driven online presence that mirrors the cafe’s warm, refined, and calming experience. Content should focus on showcasing the hidden charm of the space, storytelling through clean visuals and thoughtful captions, and creating engaging moments that encourage user interaction. A blend of lifestyle imagery, behind-the-scenes content, and event promotions will help attract a diverse audience while reinforcing the brand's identity as a serene, inclusive urban retreat.
